What Are Skin Booster Treatments?
Skin boosters such as Profhilo® and Profhilo Structura® are gentle injectable treatments that work from within the skin to improve hydration, firmness and overall skin quality. They’re ideal for mature skin that needs support rather than extra volume or drastic changes.

How your skin booster journey works
Step 1 – Resident Consultation
You’ll meet with Alisha at Rejuvenate Aesthetic Artistry in Silverdale (or at an organised in-village clinic where available). We discuss your concerns, medical history and what you’d like to achieve, then create a plan that feels comfortable and realistic.
Step 2 – Personalised Treatment Plan
If skin boosters are suitable, we’ll recommend a treatment schedule (usually 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart for Profhilo and Profhilo Structura) and go through expected results, aftercare and costs.
Step 3 – Treatment Day
Treatments are performed in a calm, professional setting using ultra-fine needles and careful technique designed with mature skin in mind. Most people can return to normal activities the same day.
Step 4 – Review & Maintain
We review your results and can plan maintenance treatments if and when you’d like to, often every 6–12 months depending on your skin and lifestyle.

Q: Am I too old for skin boosters?
A: Not necessarily. Suitability is based more on your general health, medications and skin condition than your exact age. Many of our skin booster clients are in their 60s and 70s.
Q: Will I look fake or “overdone”?
A: No. Skin boosters focus on hydration and quality, not dramatic changes. Most residents simply look fresher and more rested, rather than “treated”.
Q: How long do results last?
A: Everyone is different, but many people enjoy results for around 6–12 months before choosing a maintenance treatment.
Q: Is there much downtime?
A: There can be small bumps, redness or mild bruising at the injection points, usually settling over 1–3 days. We’ll go through aftercare and what to expect at your consultation.
Q: Is this safe with my medications?
A: We take a full medical history and medication list at your consultation. If there is any reason skin boosters are not suitable, we’ll discuss alternative options.
